LET'S GET EASTENDERS BACK ON BBC AMERICA
SEND TEABAGS TO BBC AMERICA BOSS GARTH ANCIER
New BBC America boss Garth Anicer had some particularly disappointing things to say to an AP reporter about EastEnders, which he believes is "peculiar to Britain." "It's not a particularly uplifting or inspirational show. It's a very dramatic serial but sort of depressing," he said. "The joke around the office is the lesson from that show is `Life is miserable and then you die.'"
Them are fighting words. Let's demonstrate to Mr. Ancier how wrong he is about EastEnders. Please send teabags to his office: Garth Ancier, BBC Worldwide Americas, 747 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10017
